BESTime and BESAccess are Web based applications which run off a central server.
A single SQL Server database exists between the applications which reside on the Server.

Access Control (BESAccess), Time Recording (BESTime), Basic HR functions (Including education and training records, disciplinary, entitlement, accident, health, interview and job details etc.), Job Costing, to be developed according to front-end registering device availability and functionality, Payroll Interfacing, to support batch interfacing and is designed with real-time interfaces to selected enterprise applications such as SAP and People Soft.

Access to Reports can be granted per report and per user. This enables reports with sensitive information to be withheld from most of the BESTime users. For example, reports showing disciplinary details for the site will only be available to specific managers of the HR department. Access control functions are supported in the BESAccess application for BlueLine front-end systems, with other limited Access Control functions as per front-end requirements built into the BESTime application.
